How to delete the account you use in the Thousand (1000) card game, together with the data stored on it. Playing against bots needs no account, so if you never signed in there is nothing to delete on our servers. What we process is described in the privacy policy.
In the app
- Sign in and open the Account panel (in the menu or in Settings).
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm the question. The account is deleted and the app signs you out.
By e-mail
If you cannot use the app any more, write to privacy@shotorno.com from the e-mail address of the Google account you signed in with and ask us to delete the account. We find the account by that address and delete it as soon as we can. Other questions about the site and the game: contact@shotorno.com.
What is deleted
- the account with the nickname, the username and the sign-in sessions;
- your list of friends and friend requests; you disappear from the friend lists of other people;
- the player statistics;
- bug reports (with screenshots) and the log of screens and taps.
What stays for a while
- The nickname may still be visible at tables that already exist, until they expire (3 or 30 days).
- A username you gave up stays blocked for 90 days, so that nobody can pretend to be you; for that we keep only a hash of it, not the name.
- E-mails that have already reached us (for example with a bug report) we delete on request.
Data on your phone
The saved game and the settings are on your phone, not on our servers. You delete them by uninstalling the app, or in Android settings: Apps → Thousand → Storage → Clear data.
